Volunteer FAQs

Do I need to be 21+ to volunteer?
Yes — all volunteers must be 21 or older, as many roles involve working in the tasting areas or supporting alcohol service operations.
How long is a volunteer shift?
Most shifts run 4–5 hours. We offer morning setup shifts, mid-day event shifts, and end-of-day teardown shifts. You'll indicate your preference during registration.
Can I choose my volunteer role?
Yes! You can indicate your preferred role when you apply. We do our best to honor preferences, though final placement depends on availability and event needs.
Do volunteers get to enjoy the festival?
Absolutely. All volunteers receive complimentary entry and can enjoy the festival during their off-shift time, including access to the beer tasting areas.
Is there a minimum time commitment?
We ask for a commitment to one full shift (4–5 hours). Multi-shift volunteers are always welcome and especially appreciated!
When will I hear back after applying?
We review and confirm volunteer placements on a rolling basis beginning 6–8 weeks before the festival. You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details.
